YSL turns to the dark side - mens style - People

Modern austerity was fused with just a hint of dark subversion over at Yves Saint Laurent at Paris Fashion Week last night, as creative director Stefano Pilati underlay a demure and innocent sentiment with a sexual sub-current.

The tailoring mastery for which YSL is so well known was still in evidence, as scalloped jackets, large-lapelled shirt dresses, bolero jackets and a raft of pinpoint perfect pencil skirts took to the Parisian stage, but it was the undercurrent of rebellion which most

  1. nice vid, nice guy, but I think the hair is a bit too long... a couple of months ago I had hair down past my shoulders and I got it cut in an Adam Lambert sort of way and it looks MUCH better now... I guess it just doesn't fit everyone...

  2. You could always grow it out twice the length it is now, then cut off the bottom half that has the damage... either way it will take just as long. And thanks for the series Musique, I've decided to join the Crazy guild and grow my hair out! :D

  3. Just wanted hair just past shoulder length but it got a bit crappy during the awkward stage, almost down to my shoulders and just waiting for it to grow downwards rather than out a bit more =/ I don't use anything other than shampoo every other day and I don't think I've ever used anything else so I dunno.

  4. Guess this answer is up to you for I have no idea what your long-term goal is. I am truly astonished that all of that straightening hasn't ruined your hair by now and you are using all kinds of products to help mask the damage which is the usual case.

  5. I have mad thick curly hair and cut it then straightened it for about a year to make it look not-retarded but now it's a bit longer and almost at the stage where it's going to weigh itself down. Am I cool to keep growing it or should I just buzz it all off and start again due to damage or whatever

  8. To straighten hair is to eventually destroy without redemption. Worst thing you could do to your hair other than just burn it off.

  10. kool thx
i think it looks better with gel
but ima just buy a hat and wear it
    instead of gel

  11. Do whatever you want and like the look of best. Gel will not hurt, nor will shampoo and conditioner. Hair is a bit stronger than we give it credit for.
    Take care-

  12. hey whatz up Justin
just wanted to say awesome videos
    and i have a question
my hair is thick and curly and i used to put gel in it
but im letting it grow and now i stopped
so do u reccomend putting on gel or just leave my hair naturally cuz itz still kinda short
and im glad that ur not emphasizing for ppl to grow there hair out as long as urs
cuz i don't rlly plan on growing out my hair that long
but to grow it out at a length that they r happy with
    i rlly admire that

  13. No longer. The "witch" hath moved on.

    r u married?

  14. Well, if you feel that you MUST have your hair thinned by all means do so. The main thing is that you are happy with what you have and are expressing yourself as you desire.

  15. So, no visits to the barber even to thin the hair? I know I'm not supposed to cut it.

  16. No trims. Alas, you were right in the middle of the awkward stage and this is why your hair was looking like it did which is normal for one year. Next time give it at least 2-2-1/2 years and all will settle-in perfectly. Best of luck to you.

  17. Hi, I have extremely thick and bushy hair and I want to grow my hair out. I tried it once, and after about a year I could almost put it into a ponytail, but because I just let it grow it looked awful because it was so unruly.

Do you suggest going in for trims occasionally with this type of hair? Last time I didn't get any trims, and I think that might have been the problem.

    thanks in advance, good videos

  19. Nope, you are not the only................in fact I believe there must be quite a few. Long hair can be so much fun. Enjoy! :-)

  20. Thanks man n i thought i was the only one with ponytail in bed lol

  21. A ponytail at night will not hurt. For best results have the hair in A+ cond. at night when put in a ponytail. In the AM things should go 90% better for you. ps: (I always have my own hair in a ponytail at night.)

  22. I have a question..my hair reaches my shoulders. When i wake up in the morning after sleep, my hair is full of mess n it takes alot of time to fix it..How do u manage ur hair for sleep? I do sometimes sleep with a ponytail to keep it in place lol but i think its not good for hair

  23. Trimmed it by 5" last month..................the only since seeing how far the hair would grow. I still have plenty left and am very happy with it. Glad you have enjoyed the videos. :-)
    All the best-
