  3. yes, but exacto knifing out the photo is pretty difficult. it works really well if you have a friend with a laser cutter.

  5. if you asked your local art store they could order it in for you if they dont already have it,

    one brand that makes it is golden and i think its called GAC900? or something like that. just ask the art store to order it in or you could always buy it off the internet...

  7. you can also use normal fabric ink or paint, it doesn't need to be paint mixed with medium. also you can use contact or the peel laminate, as your stencil... photo paper with the back sprayed with a little spray adhesive. there are endless options to print on shirts.

    also using a sponge and lightly dabbing it works a lot better, make sure you don't smear the paint/ ink on.

  11. if you go to michael's or aaron brothers, they sell oversized containers or variety packs with lots of different colors.

  14. i was able to find acrylic paint, but i couldnt find painting medium. can you post a link to any store that has it ?

  17. i just go to the store and buy reynold's freezer paper. one side is like regular paper and the other side is shiny that is iron-able.

  18. I think she's talking about parchment paper that is impregnated with oil, to use in baking. Restaurants and bakeries use it. It could be used but lacks the shiny side. You would have to tape the stencil down on all sides to avoid paint seepage.

  19. Thanks - great idea and an inexpensive way to silkscreen. I agree that spray paint is hard to control - especially on fabric. Wish I had a friend with a laser :-)
